We enjoyed a rainy Spring Break this year at Tybee. Honey has recently "listed" 1405 so we stayed(for the 1st time) at 1311. Love that house. We arrived Sunday as it poured. LG got locked in her room, so Daddy had to tell her how to unlock her window & he then climbed through to unlock the door. Nothing like starting the week off with a bang!
On Monday due to the storms our power was out in the morning. We walked to the pier and then made our way onto the beach...cold & windy, but, didn't bother the girls a bit. Once back home, we all took naps (MJ fell asleep on Daddy). The girls enjoyed playing out in the playhouse, we all entertained ourselves, read, relaxed, watched tv and that night we went for a little icecream - always a big hit!
Tuesday we took a late walk to the Breakfast Club, then hit the playground. LG made her way to Mimi's house for a playdate with Em and some pizza and icecream.
Wednesday, yes, more rain...when I write rain, I mean downpour. The kind of rain that puts me to sleep. More naps and reading. We played "memory" and "hiho cheerio". Daddy lost and was NOT happy. Honey arrived so went made our way to 1405 to play a little Wii. We picked Em up and all headed to A'J's for dinner.
Thursday we took the girls to Bouncing Angels, enjoyed lunch at Johnny Harris', followed by a trip to Savannah Sweets where the girls got to fill a bag with candy - this is also always a big hit! Honey loves the pralines and I love the bear claws (and pralines)! Once back at 1405 I kept smelling poop...after searching I found the poop on a rug. The poop kept reappearing...come to find out MJ had stepped in it and it travelled to MJ's feet, to her pants, to my shirt...nothing beats a lil poo treat on Spring Break! Daddy made his way back to Macon & the next morning headed to Vegas with some friends. The girls & I had a spend-night party at Honey's. We played Deal or No Deal on the Wii.
Friday we took a picnic to the playground (the rain subsided) and Saturday we enjoyed breakfast with Honey at Sunrise before heading back to Macon.
