Swimming from the steps - - - - - - - - - - - Almost there
MJ had swimming lessons this week with Mrs. Laura. Monday, there was weeping & gnashing of teeth. I was questioning if I had made the right decision signing her up at age 2 after she cried the whole 30 minutes of the lesson. By the time it was over, we were both emotionally drained...she took a 4 hour nap Monday afternoon :). Mrs. Laura said this was perfectly normal and expected. When Daddy came home, he asked LG how the lesson had gone and her response was, "it was a disaster, Daddy!" Each day got a little better, though. Tuesday night the 4 of us went to the pool and she was jumping off the side and swimming to me! She even went off the diving board - I had to get on the board with her while Daddy was in the water waiting to "catch" her. We were so proud. Honey came to her lesson today and MJ was so proud to show off for her! Each time she came up out of the water she had a huge huge grin on her face. We went back to the pool this morning and she would not stop jumping off the side and swimming to me...she had a blast! I would say those lessons were well worth it :). Way to go, MJ!

Wow, that's awesome Hope. We have been going back and forth trying to decide if it would be worth it to put Fin in this year, this post encourages me to do it!
