Thanksgiving in Tybee

Well, we all made the road trip to Tybee for a wonderful Thanksgiving "break." We enjoyed a "Fresh Market" Thanksgiving, meaning, we didn't cook ANYTHING! Thanks mom & dad! We enjoyed a Turducken, green beans almondine, corn souflè, stuffing, potatoes lyonnaise & cherry cheesecake that Honey, LG & I made - delicious! We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade & had a relaxing & thankful day!

The guys enjoyed playing lots of golf, mom & I enjoyed some shopping, Cleve got his first paycheck at his new job - yipee, we celebrated Cleve's 30th bday with cake & icecream, enjoyed fires, went on walks, ate Papa biscuits, drank hot chocolate & coffee, enjoyed many discussions & laughs, took the girls to the playground where LG made "playground friends", read books, took naps, made veggie soup, Cleve & I blew the Papa budget & enjoyed a delicious dinner from Sunday Cafe while we received verbal abuse from Chris, & made s`mores. The highlights were the fact that Cleve thought the Turducken was some how "genetically" made, MJ pooping on the LR rug, whoops...I just love naked babies after a bath, and the "window" surprise that Chris gave Honey while we were relaxing on the back porch...Thank you, Lord for such a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanks for joining me on my December Devotional Challenge! It'll be good for all of us! When it comes down to it, we all just need to "get in God's face and seek Him!" With all the things going on in this world, He needs to be our foundation. So, I'm just really excited that there are other women on this challenge with me - we can share and be there for each other.
I pray your devotions go well for you and that He fills you with joy and peace and that He refreshes your soul daily!
Blessings to you,
Hilary
